Bas Bleu Captial Campaign

A theater begins with a vision, a new viewpoint, a new understanding, a new path to opening the doors of thought and creating a forum that can lead to individual epiphanies and collective understanding.

Bas Bleu Theatre would not exist without belief: a belief that anything is possible and that art is imperative. Once a blank canvas, Bas Bleu is now a painting, a script, a song of existence, and with existence comes growth, and with growth comes change. The necessity for change comes from the dedication of its patrons, the growing public interest in the level and style of theater that Bas Bleu provides, as well as the commitment to building upon a tradition of supporting collective understanding and community dialogue through arts and arts education.

Having outgrown our modest salon theater, we are now ready to partner with others in the community to realize the dream of creating a magnificent theater in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins that will pay lasting tribute to the history of the area and the history of the arts. Bas Bleu looks forward to supporting the growing interest in the arts and to sparking passion for art by continuing to provide quality, affordable theater to the community at large.
