Sometimes when generations rub up against each other, the friction can warm your heart.  Based on the Canadian author's own experience in the 1960s, Trying shares how a 25-year-old girl and her employer--a feisty, aristocratic, octogenerian judge--manage to bridge the generation gap.

Mr. Farwell appears by special arrangement with Actor's Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers.
