The story of immigration doesn’t get any more personal than this! Join Bas Bleu and the Slow Sand Writers Society for two inspiring, powerful and insightful nights of storytelling from your neighbors -- writers, local business owners and students who came to Northern Colorado from all around the world. Experiencias del los Latinos includes award-winning writers Teresa Funke, Kay Rios and Laura Resau, Gloria Garcia Diaz, poet Mark Sanchez, a segment of Canyon Concert Ballet’s "West Side Story," as well as the stories of two local students who are in the process of immigrating. You’ll be amazed at who you meet – and how they came to be here!
