"Well"
April 4, 2009 through May 10, 2009
"Well" tells the story of five actors setting out to do a play Lisa has written about her childhood in a household full of allergies and social activism. Lisa soon loses control of her own autobiography and things spin into a riotously comic universe as her mom, Ann, continually interrupts rehearsal in order to set the record straight. As the intended play unravels and rebellion ensues, we see their show-must-go-on actor ethic eroding as the actors start to find Ann a more compelling source of information, entertainment and warm human connection."

"Readers' Theatre: Marvin's Room"
April 19, 20 & 25, 2009
"Bessie lives in Florida where she cares for her Aunt Ruth and ailing father, Marvin. When Bessie's long-estranged sister Lee is suddenly brought back into her life, their reunion is uneasy at best, with long-buried recriminations coming to the surface as love slowly overwhelms Lee's veneer of selfishness and glib denial... "Laughing one minute, we are shuddering with a stealthy empathy the next." NY Post. Director to be announced!"

"I'm Not Rappaport"
June 6, 2009 through July 12, 2009
"Set in a secluded spot in New York City’s Central Park, "I’m Not Rappaport" is about two octogenarians determined to fight off all attempts to put them out to pasture. Talk about an odd couple! Nat is a lifelong radical, determined to fight injustice – real or imagined – who is also something of a spinner of fantasies. The other half of this unlikely partnership is Midge, an apartment superintendent who spends his days in the park, hiding out from tenants who want him to retire. "Rappaport" features Jonathan Farwell and Earlie Thomas. Tony Award winner, “Best Play”, 1986."

"Readers' Theatre: Wonder of the World"
June 14, 15 & 20, 2009
"Nothing will prepare you for the dirty little secret Cass discovers in her husband's sweater drawer. It is so shocking that our heroine has no choice but to flee the honeymoon capital of the world in a frantic search for the life she thinks she missed out on. It's a wild ride over Niagra Falls in a barrel of laughs as Cass embarks on a journey of self-discovery that has her crossing paths with an eclectic assortment of folks, not to mention a gargantuan jar of peanut butter that pushes her perilously close to the water's edge... Direct by Robert Reid."
