We're getting great reviews! Check them out below!

"This story is realistic for the time because the woman stays with a lecher and drunk for a husband. She puts on this incredible show of respectability, and when her son returns with a disease his father gave to him, the whole story runs the gamut of emotions," said Jones. "It tells how women are there behind the scenes, running things despite regrettable conditions." -The Reporter Herald

"We're telling everyone we know that they must see Bas Bleu's  current performance of "Ghosts".  It's one of Ibsen's strongest plays, beautifully performed by a fine cast.  I am still thinking about that great play.  Whenever,  we have out of town guests we try to include a performance at Bas Bleu in their visit,  and they are always glad we did so.  ... The Saturday performance was one of those nights old theater buffs live for. Bring us more!" -David and Ann Healy

"Thank you so much for bringing this important play to a northern Colorado audience...am grateful that Bas Bleu is here and brave enough to probe something other than funny bones...  ...Great plays, great books, great music, great art -- these carry us through the pollution of violence." -Mim Neal

"And the ideas are ideas large enough to affect life and death, and force the characters to run the emotional gamut — from nurturing and loving to manipulating and disturbing." -The Coloradoan

Dear Wendy,
I just wanted to tell you how very much we enjoyed your current production of Ghosts. Although it may not have a happy plot, the acting is so powerful that I found myself holding my breath in places. It was indeed happy acting.
-Dianne Harper

Hi Wendy,
Just a note to say how much I enjoyed your "Mrs. Alving" last Saturday. In fact, the ensemble acting was extraordinary! And such a startling play for the 1800s, and satisfying to my feminist sensibilities.
-Patti Cowell
