"Well" tells the story of five actors setting out to do a play Lisa has written about her childhood in a household full of allergies and social activism. Lisa soon loses control of her own autobiography and things spin into a riotously comic universe as her mom, Ann, continually interrupts rehearsal in order to set the record straight. As the intended play unravels and rebellion ensues, we see their show-must-go-on actor ethic eroding as the actors start to find Ann a more compelling source of information, entertainment and warm human connection.
